Exactly what does it work with?

I have TeamViewer 7 for Mac, yet it cant connect. Tried the web console didnt work. Tried the iPad full version of TeamViewer, cant connect. What does this work with? Need some clear expectations before others waste their time trying configurations that this app does not support. We have full licenses for TeamViewer 7. In order to use this does this require an update to TeamViewer 8? While it is a neat concept, it needs more for someone to pay that upgrade IMO.
